The sanctuary has a new web site at http://www.refugiodosburros.org

As of 26th MAY 2012 they had 6 donkeys, 2 mules,1 horse, 2 sheep, 102 dogs, 22 cats.

Please check the web site to see what you can do to help.

We will be out next week and will visit. They are open from 11.00 until 16.00

I can't stress enough the amount of good work the people of this charity do for the animals.

As Dave says, PLEASE check the website to see how you can help them.

If anyone wants to donate food, blankets etc and does not have the time to take them to the sanctuary then please feel free to drop the donations into our restaurant and I will happily take them up to the sanctuary. It's not a problem as I am always going up there.

its a nice place ad the people there are so nice. We save all our small coins and drop them in after each visit - and always buy something useful as well - we darent go to the actual reuge again - we nearly came back with a car load of dogs and cats last time!!

They are participating in the first dog adoption day in Portimão this Saturday......
