Rain, then more rain!

Post by Lamby »

What's happening? We arrive Saturday 29.3.14 and weather sites are all saying rain everyday!!! I just hope it changes by weekend, they have it wrong or CVO has it's micro climate. Come on sun, make an appearance - please!! 8) 8)

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Now our departure date is close I was hoping the forecast would change. But, as it is now days away I can only imagine the forecast is pretty precise, so, rain everyday while we are in CVO it is then. Still better than work but slightly disappointing :?

The funny thing is Jamie I HAVE watch all United's games, albeit on the TV. Either on Sky, BT Sport, ITV or one of those "dodgy" channels when they played at 3.00pm on a Saturday. So I have witnessed the demise of my team whilst suffering the rise of both City and Liverpool. With a deep loathing for Chelsea I am truly torn as to who I would want to see win the league. I guess it would have to be City :( :( No doubt I will find a bar in CVO next week to watch United v Bayern Munich to continue my punishment. I am hoping the weather WILL change.

Worry not Lamby. In my experience the forecast often exaggerates the extent of any rainfall & often it rains at night when you're tucked up in bed. Furthermore, it will be much warmer than UK & once you are there you'll enjoy yourselves whatever the weather throws at you. I arrive on Thursday 3rd so expect the worst of the weather to arrive after that ! 8)

Thanks for the reassurance Widge. I agree, I am sure it will be better than some sites are forecasting. Plus, it's NOT work and I am in my favourite place. Have a safe trip next week and who knows, we may well pass each other in CVO.

landed in lashing wind & rain last night, yuk

there was at least 2 stag parties and 1 hen party on the plane, don't think the passengers on the way back were left much to drink :)

but at least it looks relatively dry for today & tomorrow, grateful for small mercies
