carvoeiro to praia da rocha

Hi there

heading out to cvo soon and we have friends staying in praia da rocha, can anyone advise how much it would be in a taxi to get there.

Be different, go to Ferraguedo & get a water taxi!

Geoff's right -my idea would be first go for fish lunch at O Soeste in Ferragudo then take their small ferry over to Portimao Marina for great ice cream. Then either walk onto Praia da Rocha or let your friends come to meet you somewhere on the way. Lovely !!

Can't disagree but personally I prefer Soeste

O Soeste once charged me 28 euro for a burnt golden bream at lunchtime - there's no way I'd eat there again.

Even better and even cheaper - the Marisqueira. Just before the square from the Sesmarias direction. No Views, no fancy decor, plenty of locals and good food - try the seafood platter - yummy,yummy

O Soeste charged me 100 euros for lunch once for three people. A nice piece of fish and boiled potatoes, very, very expensive for what we had. Never again. Apparently Jose Mourinho eats there when he's in Portugal, at least Mourinho can afford their prices!!
