Best time of day for boat trip in August

Would really like to take the trip to the caves etc from carvoeiro beach by boat this year, is there a good time of day to go, maybe low tide? If so has anyone any idea when that would be - we are out from the 2nd to 16th of August. Plus do we have to book? Thanks

When I looked at doing a boat trip in June with a friend, they were taking bookings in the morning for that day in cvo by the toilets/shower etc but were pretty busy. You can also book at Benagil. Didnt go as friend ckickened out wanting to go on a bigger boat which we didnt! Likewise OH didnt want to do in July - I'm not back until Sept otherwise I'd gate crash your trip!!
