nightlife mid October

Hi

We are staying at pestana golf resort mon-thurs mid October and we're wondering where is the best place to go out for young adults?I realise October will be relatively quiet especially midweek but we are willing to travel to albufeira in a taxi, would we struggle to get a taxi back in the early hours, where would be the best place to get a taxi from? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

get the taxi driver to give you his card (or phone number) when he drops you off.

When my sons and their friends were here, they got taxi to Albufeira couple of times. Guy came back for them at 3am each time. Didn't have to pre-pay either. Most drivers happy to give you their mobile number.

Thanks, do you think it will be lively enough to warrant the trip? I imagine it to be fairly quiet in October.
