Unusual BBQ recipes
Good morning CVO
Does anyone have some unusual/different BBQ recipes
Well here is my one and it involves the humble leek !!
You need to make up some dips garlic/cheese/mayonase etc served in medium sized bowls.
grab a handle full of leeks and place on BBQ cook for about 10 mins until burnt on the outside and test soft on inside with a fork. Peel off burnt wrapping with fingers dip in sauce and hey presto real good starter. Can be a bit messy but it tastes great and is easy and good fun. Even if you are not keen on leeks give this one a go !!
As they say from where I live LEKKER !!
I suppose this should be in the food section but what the heck.
Tot ziens

Try this:
Wrap a fish in The Sunday Times (or other sizable worthless journal with dozens of pages) tie tight with string and place in a bucket of water for a few minutes to give the paper a good soaking. Place it on bbq (after the flames have died down) and leave for as long as it takes! (eg 30-40 minutes for a salmon?)
wicked
