Getting planning permission

Hi, planning to build a house on a great plot but will need a good architect/engineer to get it through the planners. Anyone know of an architect/engineer who is good at getting things through the planners?

We used Nolasco Raposo in Carvoeiro for our house extension. He did a good job of drawing up plans, getting planning permission and arranging structural engineering assessments. I know he also does complete new builds and is recommended by estate agents in Carvoeiro. Hope this helps. Be prepared to have infinite patience with the planning authorities though - our planning permission took a full year!

Thanks..... was yours difficult to get? I am looking for architects who are told 'no' and persistently work away to get it!

Nolasco is one of , if not the best. He is also choosy as to which builders he works with so you He is well respected at the Concelho and persisitent. Gets my vote every time.
