How do you rate these restaurants?

8 of us are coming for the golf this Sunday for 1 week. We will be visiting Carvoeiro in the evenings for a few beers and a meal. I have looked over the restaurant reviews and polls on this website and have picked out the following restaurants. With us only being here for 1 week we do not want to end up in a dodgy resataurant so I would appreciate any comments regarding the ones that I have chosen.

MAXIME’S
OASIS – RIBS TO DIE FOR
ELE & ELA
CASA O BIFE
VILA NOVA
A LANTERNA VELHA
A MARISQUEIRA, ESTRADA DO FAROL
CHICO’S

If you feel there are others that we should try then please say so. More importantly if there are ones on the list above that we should not try then also please say so.

Look forward to maybe seeing some of you guys next week.

Add L'Orange to your list - its food is excellent and it is a great venue for a special night out.

A Gale,doesn't look anything from the outside but graet food,great service and very reasonable too.As for oasis,8 ribs should be the order of the day!!

A'Gale has changed owners I think. Yet to see a recent posting on the current situation, can't see it changing much anyway, always reliable but not as good as others mentioned, Mike

you must try the canteen in quinta-do paraiso it is basic but for 7euro including drink you can't go far wrong i have been going there for 15 year's now only thing is every thing you order comes with an egg on it o by the way no menu's but you can make it out i will be there on the 6th august so let me know if you went
