Malt extract

HELP. PLEASE

My wife wants to obtain some malt extract - for baking - and has tried all the local supermarkets without success.
It must be available somewhere because malt bread is available - but where ?
Any information folks ?

Try the donut factory in Seismarias, they make malt bread. It's almost opposite the solar dos pinheiros night club(

), a large orange building with white ford transits outside. B1D

Thanks for that. After coming to CVO for 20 years and living here for over 5 years, we never realised that donuts were made there. Can you tell us more about their products ?

Mind you, at first we thought Solar dos Pineirhos was a night club - and not a club for ladies of the night

You can buy malt extract in the health food shops. There is one in Lagos near the old Lidl and one at Jumbo in Faro. I am sure there are many more across the Algarve but those two definitely sell it.
