if iI had to bulldoze cvo away what would i build there instead??'.....mmm
well...yup got it...the entrance to the euroafro tunnel ....an entrance to the tunnel to link the algarve with morocco and its arab roots...then we could nip over to casablanca and buy anything we need....

well have you any other better suggestions?

Golf-a-rama.

The worlds biggest golf theme park. I can see it now, lots of lovely well watered courses, plenty of plenty of subservient, well servants, around to attend to your every whim.
And to keep the memsahib and the kids happy, we'll build some nice beaches with those wave effect machines. And in the evening we will have restaurants serving typical local food like Chicken Kiev and lobster, both favourites of the Portuguese. We will also have lots of cheap booze, and outlet shops. It is clearly vital to keep a distinctly Portuguese flavour. This we will do by having lots of souvenir shops selling those little cockerel things.

This will obviously take a lot of work but I think it would be worth it. After all, if we don't make enough money to afford Sky, then whats the point in life?

PM, I'ed be willing to bet that you could find investers to back you on that concept....after all it has a proven track record.

At the prices they are going to charge, no one will admit to eating canned vegies and if fresh veggis are realy that big a deal, they can afford to import them via the new airport.
