we've got plum trees with a bumper crop this year, I've made jam, ice cream and chutney but there's still so many!! Anyone know of anything else they can be used for? Only nice answers please :D

What about plum-brandy ? Maybe somebody knows how to make Slibovitsch. And if you don't like the tast you always can use it to start the BBQ.........

Put them in a rumtopf jar and top up with sugar and alcohol (recipes on the net).

:lol: OMG rumtopf - that is a health hazard - won't touch it ever since my friend gave me a couple of bowlfuls of her recipe - resulted in an injury in a very painful part - drunk wasn't the word :lol: :lol: :lol:

I make it here using under-ripe dates instead - 'Dastardly Drunken Dates'.
