we've got plum trees with a bumper crop this year, I've made jam, ice cream and chutney but there's still so many!! Anyone know of anything else they can be used for? Only nice answers please

What about plum-brandy ? Maybe somebody knows how to make Slibovitsch. And if you don't like the tast you always can use it to start the BBQ.........

Put them in a rumtopf jar and top up with sugar and alcohol (recipes on the net).

OMG rumtopf - that is a health hazard - won't touch it ever since my friend gave me a couple of bowlfuls of her recipe - resulted in an injury in a very painful part - drunk wasn't the word
