Cowboy, think about it . . . there are small helmets that one could find ineffectual and then there are bigger helmets that may provide some added excitement, but . . . helmets that tangled up in the branches in a tall pine forest are just totally useless!!!

Did you guys spot there is someone on "Faro Airport" topic who says I always make valuable contributions to this forum?

Having re-read my contributions to this topic heading, I will assume the guest meant "topic" rather than "forum". :?

Hi Mads,

I appreciate your contribution to the 'forum' too - got to keep those men on their toes

By the way just walked past 2 helmets - one highly decorative with flame feature and the other being held by a 'lady'. Couldn't help smiling to myself

I do like a hot helmet and have been known to handle them myself - does that mean I have to refer to myself as a lady only in brackets - how quick the mighty fall :)

Back to old helmets, and Biffa will appreciate this being up on tax bits and pieces, if you have an old helmet and no longer use and want to give it to somebody you ask the nice tax lady at the fanancas for some taper relief. TYour helnmet has to meet certain criteria but the older the helmet and the more valuable it is , the more relief she will give you!!! :D

makes you wonder what an old helmet that's never been used would bring.

Taper relief

Post by biffa »

Taper relief! I liked that one Gazza. Any sort of relief is welcome at my age.
Retirement relief and a good "rollover" is all I can look forward to.

This subject is becoming too taxing for me.

How is Maddis helmet survey coming on? Anybody "suffered" at her hands yet?

hi, biffa, i agree..all this "helmet" stuff gives you a sore neck after awhile...although i've never personaly suffered at the hands of maddi..or any of them, now that i think about it...i do think they are missing the point...it isn't the helmet...it's the motercycle... is it a scooter?..is it a cruiser?..cafe racer?..show bike? ....these are the things that tell you something about a man. helmets are only the tip of the iceburg, so to speak. 8)
