We visited Casa Algarvia ONCE and once only. I received some gloop which could be only considered as baby food - not what I ordered which was sole in a lobster sauce!!! My wife ordered salmon, which came as a tail end and was bland. Not recommended!

We visited 3 times over 2 weeks - and we weren't staying anywhere near Carvoeiro!
We loved the food - especially the shrimps in garlic butter, as a starter!
On our last visit -I treated myself to a dessert - the house special - I can only describe it as an "eggy/sugary/fruity mess" - it was delicious!!
The only comment I would make is - go early - as it gets a bit busy later on and the service becomes slow.
