Hi - my guess - a lot of Euros. I don't know the exact distance but the query reminds me of '98 when we were staying in Carvoeiro & thought it was a good idea to visit Seville on a day excursion. We left CVO @ 0600hrs & endured a very long & hot journey in a coach with no air conditioning. Hit Seville @ lunchtime - VERY VERY hot & after a few hours walking around this beautiful city we then endured a long return journey to CVO arriving back @ midnight. To make matters even worse - Man U played Barcelona the same evening in a 'classic' match (3 - 3) which was shown live on TV - I didn't see any of it!!

P.S. (Sorry I can't help with the fares)!!!!

I could find out for you if you really want to know. Seville is about 2 hours away now - motorway all the way. One hour to border and another to Seville. Mind you that is not at the legal speed limit!

Cheers Biffa, if it's not to much trouble, no rush as they don't arrive Seville until october (via Tenerife!). Me thinks a car hire would work out cheaper?

I am told it is Euros 245. Not bad really I suppose.

Problem with car hire is that they will have to specify they are taking the car our of Sain to Portugal and may pay increased insurance.

Seville

Hi Mike

Re - Seville - extremely hot at present, but a beautiful city and well worth a visit. A great day trip is offered by Harris Tours in air conditioned minibuses - leaving at 7am, arriving centre of Seville 10 am - leaving 4 pm and back in Carvoeiro for dinner. I do believe it costs €50 per person - check out their website (linked to this one).

Good luck
