I live in a holiday resort and this weekend 'our' first lap dancing club is opening which is what everyone is talking about this week in the local papers and on local radio - the concensus appears to be that if it becomes a successful business then it will have only been good for the the local economy. Not a moral argument but an economical one.

The main concern is that many more will open and our already worrying slight reputation as Britain's answer to Falaraki will grow - the police and local councils say they are commited to ensuring that we stay an all round resort and therefore wouldn't sanction an infinite (edited from infitessimal - is that better Peter?) number of them but as we know once there is a precedent ...............

oops so I need to go and do some correcting - also made a typo on Spot Santa thread - this is why I don't usually post in the mornings!! Not up to speed much before lunch -

- hmmm yes Rod I do recall mentioning lap dancing with a friend's husband as a forfeit at my birthday party - need to be kept away from alcohol and forfeits being one of those who cannot resist a 'dare'! (assuming it is legal and not hugely immoral)
