Thanks Rob, you've made my day; a truly useful tool; Ive just tried it out and I can translate entire websites in seconds.
Ellie, Ive just checked out www.iol.pt , as recommended to you last week (laptop query), and it now makes so much more sense using http://babelfish.altavista.com
It's a hap hap happy day . . . .

Well --thank-you all for the above --sausages etc--think I could handle those-----actually I was a bit more concerned that "they" ( whoever) were asking me to join a "revolution" and as Im a bit to the left =-they might possibly to much to the right--depending which way you look at it ----
Thanks Rob and Digger for websites --Ill definitely look into those.
So -you think I should leave it well alone?
Boa noite, Ellie

Too true little Sis---as you know only too well--how confused I get with my lefts & rights---you were a bit doubtful about driving with me as I recall. Think maybe its c os I mentioned our small workforce used to pray hard when they saw it was me driving the truck--cant think why--so i gave in and bought a chopper.
Im now going to use the "useful tool"mentioned by Rob I think
htt://babelfish.altavista.com
but will have to go over my Spanish e-mail again first - it has an "english" bit to click on --but when I do --its just a reply e-mail--if I reply --what will I get back--the mind boggles----

No Help
The rest of the Spanish e-mail goes like this
"Os movimentos pseudo "pacifistas" ou "anti-globalizacao"da Europa e Estados Unidos o "novo lumpen" , a "flash mob" etc.
I went onto the "babelfish" site --but even that seemed fogged by it !
I managed to translate Europa e Estados Unidos as Europe and United States.
What does it mean by a "flash mob"?
Its a very long one --so I couldnt put it all on.

Flash mobbing is the new craze started from Internet happening worldwide.
They had a 'flashmob' outside a Sofa Store in London few weeks ago and have had one in Manchester too. Seemingly people receive emails with instructions to go to a place where the 'leader' will then give out the details of which place is to be flash mobbed - so the Sofa Store manager had happened to shut up early but then was told there were loads of people outside and thinking it was a celebrity opened up and the crowd entered, did what they had to do - usually involves chanting some sentence but not allowed to use the vowels so it all sounds crazy etc. and then they all leave.
Its been picked up by the media now so the Manchester one originally involved a Cinema but the flash mob was rumbled and not allowed in so they went elsewhere?
