obrigada
Yes thanks Pammie-- I will heed your warning about opening "doubtful" e-mails----there is an "English " slot there and I clicked on it but it just came up as reply e-mail --so I left well alone!
My wolves connection is for conserving the "Iberian Wolf" -- I have this through the British Wolf Society ----but as you say --there may well be "other types" lurking out there somewhere--so beware! Ellie.

Spanish email? Not exactly
I don't know if anyone has perhaps noticed this, but the email is in Portuguese, not Spanish!
I hadn't paid much attention to the text till now, but Guest is right. I received a similar email all in Portuguese and I think it is a version of that Nigerian scam, you know, I have some 3.5 Billion $ that my late husband squirrelled away under the dictatorship etc., etc. if you would give me your account number so I can transfer the money out of the country you get a percentage etc. etc.
I wonder whether these scam people somehow got our email addresses via this (Portuguese) web-site, because previously I have received similar letters only in English. Anyway, nobody in his right mind would even reply to this. Although I once read the correspondence of a fellow from the US, who went on and on with these people, something like "sure go ahead I have no bank account but you can send me the cash, I can meet you and turn it over to you after I had my cut...." it was quite hilarious because these people very diligently replied that they would need the account number and so on.

spot on
Well done Heini--dont think anyone else has noticed(its in Portuguese).
No -I didnt respond --was yours same as mine-with an"english" slot to click on and came up as reply e-mail?
Doesnt seem the same as those "nigerian" ones --more political -a very long mail.
Did you see a posting I got from someone callingh himself "Bomber" ? Said I was being recruited to Basque seperatist movement? I did reply (jokingly) But I dont find this a joke at all --with all thats going on in the world with terrorism seemingly getting the upper hand, do you?
You could be right-in that were getting these via our e-mails on cvo.
I have a feeling this one was more to do with civil disobedience -you know --against big business -more than anything else.
Have a good day, Ellie.
