Hi does anyone know of a good quiet family hotel who are willing to take a reservation for one night (16/8/2003) All I have tried todate dont want to know. I am staying a Villa for a week and have to be out on the Saturday but my flight isn't until the Sunday - thanks 
It's because you're going peak season they won't book for one night this far in advance.
If it was me, I think I'd risk it and wait till you're there. There are lots of places that rent rooms and if the hotels weren't fully booked you could book while you're there.
You can also try anywhere on route to the airport including Faro and the quieter villages. You could of course sit on the beach all day, then stay in the jailhouse till throwing out time Sat night and then make your way to the airport - by taxi of course!!
I'm sure you will find somewhere!
