It would seem from just driving by that the O CASTELO restaurant has now become and INDIAN TANDOORI?!

If members will have a whip round I am prepared to try it out

The new Indian restaurant is the same ownership as the one on Hamburger Hill. So probably more of the same

Hamburger Hill is also known as Restaurant Hill or, to give it its proper name, Estrada do Farol

Me neither!!

Either just Farol or Restaurant Hill - obviously Cardiac Hill could apply either side of the square!!

Well I first heard it called Hamburger Hill up at the tennis club (Carvoeiro Clube de Tenis). And I guess loads of restaurants on the hill sell hamburgers.

Not really, a few of the bars sell some sort of beef pattie stuffed in a roll but nothing you could really call a hamburger.
