It would seem from just driving by that the O CASTELO restaurant has now become and INDIAN TANDOORI?!

If members will have a whip round I am prepared to try it out :D

The new Indian restaurant is the same ownership as the one on Hamburger Hill. So probably more of the same :?:

Hamburger Hill is also known as Restaurant Hill or, to give it its proper name, Estrada do Farol

Either just Farol or Restaurant Hill - obviously Cardiac Hill could apply either side of the square!! :)

New one on me too guys..and agree with you Mads, about the 'cardiac hill' bit :lol: !
Mind you,with my dodgy leg..I would also call them 'knee cap' hill! :shock:

Well I first heard it called Hamburger Hill up at the tennis club (Carvoeiro Clube de Tenis). And I guess loads of restaurants on the hill sell hamburgers.

Not really, a few of the bars sell some sort of beef pattie stuffed in a roll but nothing you could really call a hamburger. :D
