Sadly Danni lost her fight for life on Saturday 4th March. She was not strong enough to have any further chemo sessions as her blood cell and platelet counts were so low.

We tried everything but in the end she was bleeding eternally and I could not let her suffer anymore.

I am so glad that she found me four years ago and I will never forget meeting her and Jack for the first time on the streets of Carvoeiro. I miss her so very much but she gave me such happiness and i know she is running free now and suffering no more.

So sorry to hear about Danni, she had four wonderful years with you which she would not have had if you hadn't had the heart to take her under your wing, it is always hard when you loose an animal especially one which you become so attached to. How is Jake taking it?

Jack is doing ok - no outward signs of any distress, he's eating and sleeping well. I am sure he must miss her but maybe he knows something we don't! I'm hopeful anyway!

I am so sorry to hear your sad news Martina but you know you gave Danni 4 very happy years. Thanks for letting us know and give Jack a cuddle from his friends in Carvoeiro

I am so sorry to hear about Daniella.

But I'm really glad you found her and she had at least a few years of being well looked after and loved.
