Departure Board!

Post by maddi »

Not sure if this is a good idea or not, but it can be definately described as being "on topic" - some ideas about when and how people who visit this forum will be in CVO 2004 - my thinking being people could arrange to meet if they wanted to and we can share information on reasonable flight prices, etc.

So for me and mine then . . .

Heathrow/Lisbon 29/05/04 £135-00 return with British Airways (just couldn't wait until December for easyjet to release theirs to Faro, especially as we are going in half term and missed yesterdays - Monarch for £124.90 return to Faro which disappeared as I was completing the online booking form becoming £164 before my eyes).

Got Heathrow Parking and Hotel for £67-00.

Staying for just a week in the village.

Maddi :)

p.s. obviously for those of us who are not resident!!!!!

My best advice would be not to use "package" deals from big companies like JMC etc. Book flights accomodation and transfers seperatley (which can all be done over the internet in minutes very easily). We paid half the money we paid last year by doing this and ignoring package deals and im fairly confident are accomodation will be a lot nicer than last year too. Also definatley check out Monarch, we got flights for 4 adults for about £500 all in.

Just shifting this topic back to the top so that anyone else can post when they are going to be in CVO next.

Maddi

p.s. going to Lisbon Coast in July (school summer hols) for a fortnight - got the flights to Lisbon for that visit for £117-00 - seems good!

Just hang it out the window,
Let it blow in the wind,
Just be sure to put seat down,
Before you reel it in.

And, for some reason, this story comes to mind...........

Three Little Pigs went out to dinner one night. The waiter comes
and takes their drink order.

"I would like a Tango," said the first little piggy.
"I would like a Coke," said the second little piggy.
"I want water, lots and lots of water," said the third little piggy.

The drinks are brought out and the waiter takes their orders for
dinner.

"I want a nice big steak," said the first piggy.
"I would like the salad plate," said the second piggy.
"I want water, lots and lots of water," said the third little piggy.

The meals were brought out and a while later the waiter
approached the table and asked if the piggies would like any
dessert.

"I want a banana split," said the first piggy.
"I want a root beer float," said the second piggy.
"I want water, lots and lots of water," exclaimed the third little
piggy.

"Pardon me for asking," said the waiter! to the third little piggy,
"but why have you only ordered water all evening?"

You're gonna LOVE me for this....

Hold on to your seat...

The third piggy says -
"Well, somebody has to go 'Wee, wee, wee, all the way home!"
