Can anyone help?
Hi....
........8 of us, 4 adults and 4 kids (aged between 10 and 12) have booked a holiday villa in May/June adjacent to the Carvoeiro Clube......called the Villa Jacaranda and we wondered if anyone had stayed there?
Also we have been told that there is a place in the Algarve where you can 'swim with dolphins' but we cannot find any info on this.....or can you do this at Zoomarine? We would be grateful if anyone can help with infor for us.......
Btw.....this is a great 'site' and has been really useful to us.....many thanks

i cant be sure but two clients last year went to zoomarine with their kids and i think it but i could be wrong ....that it was about 300 euros
i know they said it was expensive but as it was a one off they paid.
just remember that it was pricey even for the them and they were well off
not like those of us who have to live here

RE:Villa Jacaranda.
Stayed at this villa twice. The first time we visited it was owned by a Swiss man. The interior was beautifully furnished. The second time we visited which was October 2002 the villa had changed hands and an Irish family had recently purchased it. The standard was not quite so good but still a lovely villa in an excellent location. The barbecue area was a let down but a new area may have been added. Take a 3 minute walk down to the cliffs and take a camera. Lovely, dramatic scenery. Enjoy your stay.

Jennie - barbeque was at side of villa with no real area just plonked there. It was probably a temporary measure because the villa has alot of ground where a really great barbeque area could be made.
Bedrooms - on the ground level was a double room and a twin room which shared a bathroom (shower no bath). On first floor were two further bedrooms, one double with lovely bathroom (shower) and a twin room which had the beds pushed together and made up as a double. This room has its own bathroom (with bath & shower). Both the first floor bedrooms had access to the terrace. Also the upper bedrooms had direct access from outside via steps from the driveway.
Don't be concerned about the quality of this villa. It is excellent, very clean and modern and has everything you require in the kitchen. There is plenty of room for the children outside.
Carvoeiro Clube is only a short distance - tennis courts 5 min walk.

......but the twin rom upstairs - made up as a double....can that be easily made back into a twin (or maybe requested to be?)....as we needed the two twin rooms and two double?.....and sorry to be a pain (
) but who did you book it through?......weve booked through Villa Holiday Centre in Ringwood Hampshire.
