Boat Trips

Post by tricky »

Hi
One thing we have never done is take a boat trip around the coast.
Can anyone recommend a jaunt that would take approx 2-3 hours and preferably on a boat with some shade. I do fancy the tall ship that I see whilst lounging on the beach, but is that some sort of all-day excursion with all you can drink kind of thing - not interested if it is.
Directions or telephone number and prices if poss would be great.

Thanks
Tricky

There's a big Cat that sails from Vilamoura and goes up the cost past cvo. Don't know how far it gets.

I haven't any details Tricks..but there are trips from Portimao and a friend of mine went on boat trip to see Dolphins from there last September as well (kids might enjoy that)..
but be warned, as they went out quite a way and she found the sea quite rough and they got everso slightly WET ! !
Im sure that 'galleon type' tall ship goes from Portimao..you know? The one that belongs to Dalcassian?

Boat tours

i'm pretty sure the best boat tour out of Portimao is called the Osiris you can tell from the distinctive eye of RA design on the sails.
Quote me if i'm wrong i last went on it 3 years ago. 8) 8)

Your'e right Osiris is great. From Portimao, and they still use the sail instead of engines.

Thanks everyone, the Osiris seems to be the best bet.
Do I just head for the harbour in Portimao?
