never to old to boogie!
Glad you agree Charles& Cowboy.
this is not quite related to above --but just want to say--you know the "youngest" folk I met on my vacation in CVO?
Ill tell you --it was the "elderly"! Portuguese!
I saw them dance the night away---3 nights of my first week--and were stillgoing well after midnight--they left the younger folk standing-Id like to have had some of their energy
"Grey Panthers" can be very attractive----particularly the male of the species
Whatever your age--have a lovely one, Ellie

thank you all for the comment. I will explain my situation: My aunt moved to A. de Pera with her family about 27 years ago. So I have been visiting Portugal since I was 2 years old 2 times a year. Portugal is like my 2nd home country. I know my way around and especialy in Carvoeiro. I visited this town for 9 years now. This year I visited CVO 4 times to arrange things for my staying. So I am familiar with the Portugese. But still I had these conversations with yougsters who are trying to get out of the Village. Maybe that is because I have a lot of experience build up in Amsterdam and got tired of the busy and fast life in Amsterdam. I will see how it goes is CVO, how I will feel after a while.

Eva, I’m glad you have explained your situation, and it’s not a bad situation to be in. I was afraid you might be unfamiliar with Portugal. For some reason I pictured you as a victim (of perhaps a failed relationship or something) on the run. Maybe someone who had visited cvo on holiday, fell in love with the place, and felt like giving up friends & family in your home country, without really knowing what . . .
Portugal is your “2nd home country”, why not make it your 1st? I did
Bem vindo
