Carol has asked me to thank you for your (generally) kind and appreciative comments and is pleased that you like her style.

As Carol is one of the dancers, we wondered whether the lady(?) with the fingers up was Carvoeiro 1

She has put an awful lot of work into this project, particularly not being a natural or trained journalist and if CVO1 feels he/she can do better, then he/she can willingly have the pleasure of writing the April newsletter

Great letter, we are out in just over two weeks time along with one of our assorterd sons, Gary' and I have 3 between us. One or more tend to tag along when they know we are due for a visit. You'd think by now (two in their 20s's )we'd have shake em off but they still like to hang out with Gary and I.... Think good food and wine may have something to do with it also. So the letter has certainly put us in the mood and will certainly sample the Irish Times Bar...and of course Sunday Lunch as usual at Sergio and Rachel's

yes, great work carol, the first picture on the slide show is that the bar with those little awkward steps you have to navigate to reach? i think it's away from the square , next to a dead end in the road. if so does any one have any info ? price , food, near a beach etc . thanks in advance

jose think you are right about the photo of the bar down those steps. My son and family went there last year. Said it was lovely, but dont ask for a large beer cos it will last you forever! After saying that think we will find it when we are there this time and i dont think my youngest son (21) will have any trouble drinking large beers

plenty of small ones too.

Newsletter, brilliant job, well done. Its great to read it all and catch up. The pictures were fab 2. Wonderful 2 see everyone enjoying themselves and the beachy ones were oh, I am so missing it all.
The one down 2 the bar etc, pretty certain that was Al Seco ( sorry re spelling) For the person who asked about it. The food and ambience is very romantic for when the sun goes down and you are sitting there eating and drinking watching any boats go by and the lush stars in the sky. Really worth a visit at nite to eat and drink. Will not break the bank and the food is pretty good 2.
