Ellie, in Algarve they make “special” tea with all sorts of things these days. Don’t know where they get their ideas from. The Dutch probably.

"How could you forget Cowboy ?"

I wonder if you've noticed in the Memberlist that you can sort the members in descending order by number of posts. Cowboy has held the top spot for ages now, but it seems that Maddi is catching up.

Cowboy achieves this fame, by his prolific one liners (great for the spirit of the board  ), but I wonder who would claim to post the most words? I have an answer, but would it would be ungracious of me to appear to accuse one of our lovely ladies for talking too much :?: :?:

Ever the gentleman, I won't mention Ellie's name in that context   except to say that having found a photo of you, so that we can see who is behind the word, it enhances the enjoyment of your stories.

While being totally sympathetic to anybodies wish to remain anonymous, would others appreciate a photo as part of the member list ?

Richard, if you look like Johnny Depp or Brad Pitt a topless photo would be very much appreciated  :P

Or Colin Jackson or Heath Ledger, Charlie from Busted (but that would feel almost like child abuse) anyway, if you have pecs can we have a topless one !! If they are more like "man boobs" keep your shirt on  .

And if Steen won't/can't add a pic to our member profiles, you can always stick one on chat (address in Jokes) and we can look at each other in there, quite a few of us have already posted pics, including our Ellie, Cowboy, Rod, Swingdingin, Peter and me (but I can soon remove mine if too many people are looking - we wouldn't want to put anyone off their dinner - especially as the chaming Mr Sader when he was still an active user of this board slated me apallingly - I have only just got over it  )

Thank-you Richard---at least--I think so!----I confess  --I do chatter on a bit dont I? Just how many words have I written --Id love to know.Does it match the number Ive written for publishers so far?-----near 30,000?
But you put it so charmingly--how could I possibly take offence :)
As for photos--see Maddis words --but Id bet you wont shift Steen or Gambrinus on this one.I think these two will always remain a mystery :!:
Mike wants some pleasing--doesnt he? A whole picture gallery of the lovely forum lasses---wonder if he'll get his wish :?: :)

Of course Cowboy, unlike me and Ellie you don't take offence and take umbrage for days at a time, so you will always be miles ahead - unfortunately for us sensitive souls, a cutting post send us to hills.

Sensible people like Loretta, Tricky and others never actually post anything that attracts a negative response (although thinking about it now - Tricky has had her moments).

Maddi,

Don't forget I was accused of being The Blob at one point - how insulting is that :?:  Had to go to Cvo. in Sept. to recover from the shock - heaven - still full of friendly people and regulars & not a cross word heard.

This forum seems to bring out the beasts in us.

Packing tips - no lost lingerie - put it all in the hand luggage - the guys at customs love it :P

God, please don't let us re-visit the whole "portugese drivers" thing which along with the "blobby" thing have to be the two lowest points in this forum's career.

Calma, calma, calma - there is a good place to be in your head and in your heart.

I dunno, "local drivers" ran on for 8 pages or so....Personaly, I enjoyed it.
Come to think of it, I think it even attracted a few new members....Calma is fine, up to a point, but rember....to be truly calma, you have to be dead, and I ain't been that calma yet.
