Refurbishing

Need to refurbish our villa before the summer season, can anyone tell me where is the best place to buy furniture, curtains, bed linen, paint etc?
We are doing it ourselves as the budget is fairly tight!
Would be grateful for any help

Other items - there is a B&Q style place in Lagoa called Mestre Maco that should provide most DIY type stuff.

For Curtains we found it cheaper and easier to bring from the UK, bit difficult to find any ready made under 2 metres long in portugal.
