any cure?
Depends on the hangover "type"
"hangover" is really one of two things.
The alchohol has an "effect" on the brain and for this tablets and a lie down is all that is medically proven to be of any use.
or
The body is dehyrdrated and needs fluid (stay away from coffee & tea), sip the drink over a 2/3 hour period and don't gulp it. Lucozade is good as it helps to replace the sugars.
Basically we are different and what works for one .... etc
I sit in the shower all day and eat lots of chocolate. Fresh air helps blow the cobwebs away and sometimes when i'm really bad I have a shandy!!
Good luck you bad girl

yes --Im ashamed to say CM
-----t'was the guinness that did it--only couple of --er--small glasses----but dont think it was very wise of me to accompany them with a Thorntons Cappucino bar--do you ?
So maybe its the chocolates fault
Thanks for the remedies---Have had the fresh air and plenty of water--and think its beginning to work!
Till next time that is!
Funny --I can usually drink red wine and also guinness without ill effect--but often find that lager can give me hangover--maybe I should turn them into shandies!

Elli its the chemicals in the lager that do it !
I have often found that the rate of consumption determines whether or not I suffer the next day, the long drawn out session never leaves its mark however the short sharp beer lust turns me into a cabbage the next morning.
The way people in the U.K. go to pubs and the way in which we pay at the pub can also affect me i.e. seven lads go for a drink and all get a round in, all desperate to get one in and not appear tight!
