Another great afternoon!!

Just got back from the square where another childrens Christmas party has just finished. This year was very good because it was in the square and not in the social club. When I got there Beto and his band were playing, lots of childrens songs and of course "Praia do Carvoeiro", it was great to see all the little one's dancing and singing. Then there was a magician, who was also very good and kept producing doves and rabbits from nowhere, I think the adults enjoyed him more than the little ones. Last but not least a special appearance from Father Christmas much to the delight of the children. Every child got a present and a bag of sweets, some got two or three!! Of course no party in Carvoeiro is complete without a sweet shower! I got hit by a boiled sweet during the shower and have the mark to proove it, so if you see someone walking down the road with a red mark on the forehead, it's me!!! Thank you to President Jorge Pardal and the rest of the Junta for another wonderful day, oh and not forgetting São Pedro for keeping the rain away and the sun sparkling!! Merry Christmas everyone
