Public internet access
Not resident...but hoping to be so when we find something to buy.
In the meantime dependant on finding public internet.
There was something in the beach goodies shop off the square.
Is it still there? Is there anything else?
ps What's the euro rate like? Are we about to get a horrid surprise?

Sharen has been plugging this for ages. Great to hear someone else is using it too.Glasllwch wrote:Re the Euro rate.
Having just returned from Spain I paid for everything on my Nationwide Flex account card.
Just had the statement.
No transaction charges/fees and a rate of approx 1.265.
Worth looking at

More about the Nationwide B.S. cards abroad.
Paying for goods and services with their credit card = no fee and a better rate from Visa than the general rate. However, use it to draw cash from a hole in wall and you'll incur a 2.5% charge each time, deducted from the amount you withdrew when you get your next statement.
However, if you use a Nationwide B.S. debit card you can draw cash from ATM's without any charge at all and get more Euros for your pounds than the official exchange rate.
