Mr Angry, congrats in creating the response you intended to. Having said that my opinion is that you are what is known as a fool. If you need escapism, get drunk, dont interact with intellectuals that make you feel small. Anyone who rejects improving their intellect at any time is a fool. so, in conclusion, the answer is at the bottom of the bottle.

I'm back, with my light-sabre on full power! I thought it was bad enough having to fight that intergalactic heavy breather Darth Vader. But it seems that the dreaded Empire of Verbal Diarrhoea has struck back! Even worse, there seems to be an invasion of sycophants who suck up to it, not to mention a visitation by a particular type of fool who mistakes wordiness and long-windedness for the cerebral.

OK Gambrinus, you asked for it, so now it's my turn to be boring
I consider happiness and hope to go hand in hand, if you're happy then hope springs eternal, and you hope what makes you angry, sad, or whatever, cheers you up when the bad things are turned around.
I don't drink and gave up smoking over sixteen years ago, so I think I'm a bit healthier and a bit wealthier, both for which I am grateful and hope it continues into the twilight years. What makes me happy?
1) The seasons here in England especially the one that will soon be upon us,the songbirds returning and procreating, the new growth, and the hope that flowers will bloom forever.

2) Children laughing and playing and the hope and prayer that they will be allowed to grow healthilly and not be mistreated or abused.

3) The hope that the vicious dogs ripping hares apart for 'SPORT' will one day turn upon their equally vicious owners, that would make me very happy.

4) The hope that 'Brer Fox' will one day bite the fat arse of a chinless wonder, dressed stupidly and perched on the back of a wonderful animal.
Now that would make me very happy.

5) The hope that one day a politician will say SORRY.

6)What makes me happiest of all is a loyal and wonderful wife who is my lover, mate, and strongest critic, especially when I'm angry.
I just hope this is not too long and of course.....intellectual
